Guides Banking Reconciliations

Reconciliations

What it does

Reconciliation compares your Numbors transactions against your actual bank statement. It helps you identify missing transactions, duplicates, and errors so your books match reality.

Key actions

  • Start a reconciliation for any bank account
  • Match transactions to bank statement lines
  • Auto-reconcile matching transactions
  • Save progress and complete when balanced
  • View reconciliation history and summaries

Getting started

Go to Banking > Reconciliations. Select an account, enter the statement ending balance and date, then tick off the transactions that appear on your statement.

Agent-First CLI

Agents and developers can perform these actions via the numbors CLI or MCP tools — no UI needed.

> numbors do "Reconcile current account for May"
Auto-matches 90%+ of transactions (ACT_SAFE)
> numbors reconcile --account "Current Account" --period "May 2026"
Reconcile with explicit params

Install: npm install -g numbors · Full API reference
